Australian Families - Workshops NOW ... there is a better way It’s not easy being a family ..... and every one is different. That’s why Australian Families offers a range of services: •   Counselling & therapy •   Life coaching  & financial planning •   Mediation •   Family law At Australian Families we recognise that the stresses on families may be as simple as a misunderstanding or as complex as an irretrievable breakdown of a marriage.  In between lie communication difficulties, financial stress, depression, separation and 101 problems that need resolution. The means of resolution must be as varied as the problems.That is why Australian Families believes that a team of professionals with a variety of skills is best placed to find a way through the issues which face modern families. At Australian Families we don’t pretend that every relationship can be patched up and sent on its way but we do believe that: •   Relationship difficulties affect a much wider community including  children, grandparents and work mates; •   Early intervention offers the possibility of more effective, creative and lasting solutions to problems; •   A negotiated settlement of issues is far more likely to be accepted by both parties than a decision imposed on them by a judge; and •   Litigation should be the last resort. We hope that people will seek our services at an early stage of family issues so that workable solutions can be found which are both creative and positive for their families. We hope to assist in communication within families, where possible to avoid separations and divorces and to support real reconciliation.   Where our clients cannot avoid separations and divorces we work to find non-litigious solutions and agreements that help family members move forward whilst protecting and nurturing ongoing family relationships. For children in particular it is critical that they be guided and assisted through the trauma of loss and change which the separation of their parents creates.   By bringing together, within one organisation, a wide variety of specialist skills and resources we aim to provide professional help and guidance which is both emotionally and financially cost effective.   Give us a call.
